Beyond the Himalayas that create the northern border of Nepal and behind the Mighty Mount Everest is the world’s highest plateau that creates the historically and religiously important region – Tibet. Also known as ‘the roof of the world’, Tibet on the 4000m elevation with many other high peaks along with Everest is an autonomous region of China.

And thus begins the journey into beautiful Tibet which comprises of dense jungle, various temples, monasteries, lakes, markets, and of course the ever-popular Lasha Potala Palace. You will be experiencing nature’s beauty and the lifestyle of the highland people of both countries making it the most memorable journey across the mighty Himalayas.

The capital of the ancient mountain kingdom of Nepal, Kathmandu has the air of a medieval city including a labyrinth of narrow streets, wooden temples and beautifully decorated palaces. In the background, there is often a gentle sound of cymbals and the markets are a rich blend of colours and aromas. Only in the 1950s was Nepal opened up to visitors and, today, there is a thorough mixture of modern technology and traditional lifestyles making the city a fascinating place to visit.
